The E-Books are Coming, The E-Books are Coming!!!!

Do you have a Nook or a Kindle?  If so, did you know you can borrow books for your Nook and/or Kindle?

Now, before you get all crazy excited, not all books can be loaned/borrowed. Each publisher determines if/when their books can be loaned. So even though you might not be able to lend your books out today, you might be able to next month.

I stumbled upon a really cool website: E-Book Fling.

Here's how it works...You join (for free) and list the books you have purchased for your Kindle/Nook. Ebookfling will tell you whether lending is currently enabled by the publisher.  If it is, you "fling" it out to other members.  When you "fling", the website will notify members who that that book on their wishlist.  The first one to log in and grab it, gets it.  You get a credit for every "fling", you use those credits to either catch flings, request flings, or for books that are available for instant download.  If no one catches  your fling within 7 days, you get to keep the credit for the original fling, and you can fling it again for another credit!

Since I joined a few days ago, I've earned almost 30 credits, loaned out 2 books, and borrowed 10.

I wanted to get the word out, cuz the more flingers, the more book choices available.  So get out there and fling those books!!!!!
