Dusty Covers Monday #3

Dusty Cover Monday is a meme started here at Novel Goddess by KristyZ (me), that is a gentle reminder for us to go back to a book published a year or so ago, dust off its cover and read it! Sometimes we get caught-up in the new releases and forget all those books we were excited about in much the same way, not so long ago.

Kristy's Dusty Cover for this week is: I Am Number Four by Pitticus Lore

Why did I choose this book? Well is does have about half an inch of dust on it, seriously. I was about 100 pages into the book when I set it down to read other books and just never got around to finishing it. Now it is time to dust off the cover, finish what I started and move on to the second book in the series.

I Am Number Four
In the beginning they were a group of nine. Nine aliens who left their home planet of Lorien when it fell under attack by the evil Mogadorian. Nine aliens who scattered on Earth. Nine aliens who look like ordinary teenagers living ordinary lives, but who have extraordinary, paranormal skills. Nine aliens who might be sitting next to you now.

The Nine had to separate and go into hiding. The Mogadorian caught Number One in Malaysia, Number Two in England, and Number Three in Kenya. All of them were killed. John Smith, of Paradise, Ohio, is Number Four. He knows that he is next. (synopsis courtesy of Goodreads)
