Need a good clean YA read? This is the one for you! This story is sweet and will sweep you off your feet! Poor Sadie has a deadbeat mom, who acts more like the child than the adult. Sadie keeps everything together in her hard home life, which is why she ends-up taking over her mother's job as a maid over the summer. Sadie has no clue that the family she will be working for is none other than the Stone family. As in Jax Stone, major teen heartthrob and rocker! To Sadie it is no big deal. She doesn't have time to think about Jax or even listen to his music. Her main focus is working to make a paycheck so she can pay the bills, keep herself and her mom fed and maybe have some money left over to save for future expenses.

When Jax sees Sadie, he is interested. To even have someone working in the house close to his age is unique, let alone a girl who seems to be uninterested in him. He is baffled, but also intrigued. For a hot teen rocker, Jax is really sweet, thoughtful and protective. All his wonderfully swoon-worthy qualities win over Sadie rather quickly. Jax wants to be with Sadie and do normal things with her like go to a movie or a party, but he knows that will never happen with fame and the cameras always around him. He and Sadie decide to take things one day at a time knowing that it won't last past summer when his touring and public appearances resume. It doesn't take long for everything to fall apart for Sadie and Jax.

Abbi Glines weaves a perfect story of love and loss and strength. This book will have you grinning from ear-to-ear with happiness. Then, you will be pulling out the tissues and hugging your pillow in sadness. Don't worry the sun does shine again! A perfect YA contemporay...read it when you want to feel all warm and fuzzy inside! :) 4Stars!
