The second Black Gryffon erotic Celtic fantasy romance is an action-packed thriller with an intriguing love between two doms arguing who's on top. However, neither protagonist feels three dimensional though sub-genre fans, especially those who read Darkest Fire, will enjoy the heated courtship.
**INTENDED FOR AN ADULT AUDIENCE**
My Thoughts: Well, we learned a little bit more about the “Black Griffons”, as well as Rin’s sister Lei. But I was hoping to learn more about this secret they protect. The action and intrigue level was much higher in this installment which made for a better story. The characters are still lacking, but are likeable. There is some steamy sex and some very mild BDSM. The pacing is good, the story is a one sitting read that I am hoping will tie up some of the loose ends in the next, and presumably, final installment. I guess I will just have to wait and see.
