Review: Entwined
Entwined by Elisabeth Naughton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
GoodReads: Forces of daemons are gathering and have broken through the barriers of the Underworld. Now more than ever the Eternal Guardians are needed to protect both their own realm and the human world. Zander can't afford to think about what might have been with the bewitching physician he once regarded as his soul mate. But with eternity stretching out before him, he also can't fathom spending his life without the one woman who makes him feel most alive. Perhaps he's found his weakness, after all . . .
My Thoughts: I’m really enjoying this series! Lots of new mythology, action, adventure, romance, s3x! LOL! It’s definitely up there with the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward, and Lords of the Underworld by Gena Showalter.
What I like about these series is there is usually a core group of hunky males that run throughout the series. After their story is told, they and their mate continue throughout the story so the reader gets continual updates. That’s one of things I find hard about novels…the reader gets so invested in the characters and story then when it ends…that’s it. At least with these long series the reader gets glimpses into how previously “starring” characters are still doing.
